Plot summary
Yaman's parents, Malhar and Malika, see their son on weekends; the seven-year-old boy has been raised in the home of his grandparents. When Malhar is offered a chance to settle in the United States, he and Malika want to take Yaman with them. Guruji, the grandfather, is unwilling to let the boy go, and the standoff between the parents and the grandparents becomes a legal battle over his custody. Yaman, the child who has kept the household together, sits in the middle of the dispute, and the case turns into a fight inside one family, Shastry against Shastry, with a judge left to decide his future.
