Plot summary
The Galápagos Islands hold a colony of Galápagos sea lions, and a single adult male, called the beachmaster, is in charge of the mothers and their pups. Leo is one of those pups. His mother is Luna. While Leo is small, Luna shows him how to swim. When he is older, the beachmaster drives him away from the islands, and Leo has to search for a home of his own.
