Plot summary
Santa Claus is riding in his sleigh when bad weather throws him out, and he lands in Los Angeles with no memory of who he is. A television news reporter, Peter Albright, finds him and puts the old man on the air, asking viewers to help identify the family of the stranger he assumes is lost. Santa takes a job in a mall, where Peter's girlfriend's son insists to the adults around him that the man is the real Santa Claus, and nobody believes him. Santa still knows things about Christmas without knowing how he learned them. Meanwhile his elves are looking for him.
