Vincent Klyn

Biography

Vincent Klyn is a New Zealand-born American actor and professional surfer who moved to Honolulu, Hawaii at age four and began surfing at ten, later competing on the professional circuit and ranking among the world's top five. His film debut came in Cyborg (1989) as the villain Fender Tremolo opposite Jean-Claude Van Damme, a role he won after director Albert Pyun spotted him surfing. He took smaller parts in surfing films such as Red Surf (1989) with George Clooney and Point Break (1991) with Patrick Swayze and Keanu Reeves. Most of his major roles came in Albert Pyun's films, among them Kickboxer 2: The Road Back (1991), Dollman (1991), Nemesis (1992), Knights (1993), Blast (1997), and Max Havoc: Curse Of The Dragon (2004), while Gangland (2001) was an exception. He also appeared on Baywatch and in an episode of The Adventures of Brisco County, Jr.
