Tommy Hinkley

Tommy Hinkley is an American actor whose screen work began in the 1980s, with guest spots and recurring parts on television. He went to high school in Culver, Oregon, and his first feature was Back to the Beach (1987), a comedy. The same year he appeared in Ray's Male Heterosexual Dance Hall, a short that won an Academy Award, and he played the lead opposite Bill Maher in Hard Knocks, a Showtime series that did not last long. Supporting roles followed in Men at Work (1990), Silent Night, Deadly Night 4: Initiation (1990), and The Little Vampire (2000), and he is known for The Cable Guy (1996) and Leatherheads (2008). On television he played Jay Selby in the first season of Mad About You, voiced Earl Grunewald in the animated series Life with Louie, and co-starred with David Alan Grier in the Fox sitcom The Preston Episodes in 1995. He has also taught theater arts to children in Boulder, Colorado.
