Roxana Zal

Roxana Zal is an American who worked as an actress and later as a fashion designer. Raised in Malibu, California, she started acting at 11 and got her first part, a guest appearance on Hart to Hart, near the end of 1981. In 1983 she appeared in Table for Five and Testament (1983), and in 1984, at 14, she became the youngest winner of a Primetime Emmy Award for playing the lead in the television movie Something About Amelia, a performance that also earned her a Golden Globe nomination. Later credits include the independent crime film River's Edge (1986), the teen romance Under the Boardwalk (1988) and Everybody's Baby: The Rescue of Jessica McClure (1989), in which she played young mother Cissy McClure. She went on to supporting roles in made-for-television and independent films, guest spots on shows such as Lois & Clark, The Pretender and NCIS, and a regular role on the 2006 telenovela Watch Over Me.
