Robert Jezek
Biography
Robert Jezek is a Canadian actor who has worked in British theater, film and television. He played Sergeant Zbrigniev in the 1989 Doctor Who serial Battlefield and later had an EastEnders guest spot as a Polish man whose daughter had been bullying Ben Mitchell. He appeared in Shameless, The Bill and Holby City. He is known for voicing the Doctor Who companion Frobisher in audio dramas from Big Finish Productions, and in 2002 he took a guest role in Sarah Jane Smith: Ghost Town. In 2004 he provided voice work for The Getaway: Black Monday. His film credits include Event Horizon (1997), Casino Royale (2006) and Last Chance Harvey (2008), where his parts were a rescue technician, a policeman and a Polish neighbor. On stage, he was Dray in The Trestle at Pope Lick Creek at the Belfast Festival in 2006, took the title role in Hayton on Homicide in 2009, and appeared in the West End production The Bodyguard.
