Patrick Baladi

Patrick Baladi is an English actor who studied acting in London at the Central School of Speech and Drama, after growing up in Libya and attending Stonyhurst College, where he took the Charles Laughton Prize for acting. He became known as Neil Godwin, the rival of David Brent, in the BBC mockumentary The Office, appearing in its final series and the Christmas Special. On television he has also played Michael Jackson in Stella, a Sky 1 drama, Stephen Holmes in the ITV thriller Marcella and Jimmy Lakewell in the BBC's Line of Duty, as well as Philip Shaffer in the 2011 ITV production Kidnap and Ransom. His films include Diana: Last Days of a Princess (2007), in which he portrayed Dodi Al-Fayed, Last Chance Harvey (2008) and The International (2009). He has performed on stage for the Royal Shakespeare Company in plays such as Hamlet and Much Ado About Nothing, and starred as Excelsor in the comedy No Heroics.
