Nick Dimitri

Nick Dimitri was a Hollywood stuntman, actor and bodybuilder whose career in film and television lasted more than thirty years. He entered cinema in the late 1950s and did stunt work for series including 77 Sunset Strip (1958) and Route 66 (1960). He also took small acting roles in Kid Galahad (1962) and The Train (1964). In the television pilot The Norliss Tapes (1973), he played a sculptor who came back from the dead. He was a bare knuckle fighter who battled Charles Bronson in the climax of Hard Times (1975). During the 1980s he supplied stunts and acting appearances for action shows such as MacGyver (1985), Knight Rider (1982), Hunter (1984) and The A-Team (1983). In the 1990s he battled Steven Seagal in a pool room fight in Out for Justice (1991) and was knocked out by a bomb-laden corpse in Last Action Hero (1993). A Stuntmen's Association member, he gained minor cult status for his tough screen characters.
