Neil Crone
Biography
Neil Crone is a Canadian actor and writer who was born in Toronto in 1960 and taught English and drama before he turned to performing full time. He started out with Toronto's The Second City Touring Company and later its main stage, then built a career in film, television and voice work. He is known for playing Fred Tupper on the CBC comedy Little Mosque on the Prairie, Jerry Whitehall in Cube 2: Hypercube (2002), and for voicing Gordon, Diesel 10 and Splatter in Thomas and the Magic Railroad (2000), a role he returned to in the reboot Thomas & Friends: All Engines Go. His film roles include Officer Strauss in New York Minute (2004) and Chuck in Hollywoodland (2006), and his television work ranges from Noddy to Murdoch Mysteries. He also contributes articles to This Week, a newspaper in Durham Region.
