Melissa Disney

Biography

Melissa Disney is an American actress and writer who has built a career in film, television, and voice-over. She is especially recognized for giving voice to Ginger Foutley on the Nickelodeon animated program As Told by Ginger. Disney belongs to a small group of women who lend their voices to coming attractions, and her work on the 2000 trailer for Gone in 60 Seconds was among the early major-studio examples to feature a female narrator; that assignment earned her a Key Art Award. In games and animation, she has voiced Vivi Ornitier in Kingdom Hearts II (2005), Elora the Faun in Spyro 2: Ripto's Rage! (1999), Courtney Gears in Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal (2004), Menagerie in Superman vs. The Elite (2012), and Imoen in the Baldur's Gate series. She also acted on screen as Melinda Chisney in In a World... (2013), Lake Bell's directing debut about voice artists.
