Matthew Le Nevez

Matthew Le Nevez is an Australian actor who grew up in Canberra and trained at NIDA, graduating in 1999. Early television parts in the sci-fi series Farscape and the teen drama Head Start led to his first feature film role in Garage Days in 2002. A breakthrough followed as Bullet Sheather in the miniseries Marking Time, which brought him an AFI Television Award in 2004. He played Sheriff Kyle Williams in the Marvel film Man-Thing (2005) and appeared with Hugo Weaving and Jacqueline McKenzie in Peaches (2004). His role as Mathew Wales in the television movie The Society Murders won him a Logie Award in 2006. He also starred in The Tender Hook, played Dennis Lillee in Howzat! Kerry Packer's War and Damien Parer in Parer's War, and starred as Peter Brock in the miniseries Brock. He is best known as Doctor Patrick Reid in Offspring, and has appeared in The Kettering Incident and Absentia.
