Matilda Firth

Biography

Matilda Firth is an English actress, born in West Yorkshire, who began performing at a young age, taking her first professional role at five as a minor character in the Amazon Studios series The Feed. Brief appearances in programs including The English Game and The Irregulars followed before she drew attention in a 2021 McDonald's Christmas advert directed by Bert and Bertie. She played Grace in the Channel 4 sitcom Hullraisers in 2022 and 2023 and Young Mia in Peacock's Vampire Academy, then made her feature debut in Disney's Disenchanted as Bella, a girl rescued by Patrick Dempsey's character. Her film work includes the youngest Burnsall sister in Starve Acre (2024) with Matt Smith and Isla in Subservience (2024), and she starred as Ginger in Blumhouse's Wolf Man (2025), directed by Leigh Whannell. On television she has appeared in the BBC's Time, Channel 5's Coma and ITV's Mr Bates vs The Post Office.
