Maribeth Monroe
Biography
Born in Fraser, Maribeth Monroe is an American actress, writer and comedian who came up through The Second City, performing on its Chicago and Detroit stages and taking part in Red Scare, a 2004 revue staged by Mick Napier. She is known for playing Alice Murphy on the sitcom Workaholics, Mindy St. Claire on The Good Place, a recurring role from 2017 to 2020, and Christina Wheeler on Bob Hearts Abishola, which she joined in 2019. Her film work includes The Back-up Plan (2010), Keeping Up with the Joneses (2016), Downsizing (2017) and Jumanji: Welcome to the Jungle (2017). She has also appeared in episodes of Parks and Recreation, Modern Family, The Big Bang Theory and Key & Peele, among other series.
