Luke Arnold

Luke Arnold is an Australian actor and author known for playing John Silver in Starz's Black Sails and Michael Hutchence in the miniseries INXS: Never Tear Us Apart. Born in Adelaide in 1984, he later lived in Sydney and Queensland and assisted the swordmaster on the 2003 film Peter Pan before graduating from the Western Australian Academy of Performing Arts in 2006. He acted on stage in Like Stars in My Hands and appeared in guest and recurring roles on City Homicide, McLeod's Daughters, and Winners & Losers. Later television work included the Australian drama Glitch, Salvation, and a temporary role on Home and Away. He also played Freedom in Half Magic (2018) and appeared in ten episodes of Nautilus as Captain Billy Millais. In 2023 he was cast in Scrublands, which was renewed for a second season the following year. His first novel, The Last Smile in Sunder City, came out in 2020.
