Loni Anderson

Loni Anderson was an American actress whose first screen credit was a small part in Nevada Smith (1966); she then went nearly a decade with little work before landing guest spots on television in the mid-1970s. Raised in suburban Roseville, Minnesota, she became best known as Jennifer Marlowe, the receptionist in the CBS comedy WKRP in Cincinnati, a part that earned her three Golden Globe nominations and two Emmy nominations. She starred in the television film The Jayne Mansfield Story (1980) and the comedy Stroker Ace (1983), voiced the collie Flo in All Dogs Go to Heaven (1989), and later appeared in 3 Ninjas: High Noon at Mega Mountain (1998) and A Night at the Roxbury (1998). Her other television work included the series Partners in Crime and Easy Street, and she was praised for playing Thelma Todd in White Hot: The Mysterious Murder of Thelma Todd. She died in 2025.
