Plot summary

The six lead performers from Friends gather for a reunion special on the soundstage where the sitcom was filmed for most of its run. They walk through the apartments used as characters' homes, the coffee shop set for Central Perk, and the show's signature water fountain. A host moderates as they talk about their years on the show. Former guest stars and other celebrities appear, and the cast reads and performs scenes from old episodes. The special also includes behind-the-scenes footage and a performance of the song 'Smelly Cat' from the series.

The reunion marked the final on-screen appearances of two of its stars: James Michael Tyler, who died five months after its release, and Matthew Perry, who died in 2023.
