Josh Evans

Josh Evans is an American filmmaker, screenwriter, and actor. He graduated from Crossroads School in 1989 and received a Young Artist Award in 1988. His best-known screen appearance was as the brother of Ron Kovic in Born on the Fourth of July (1989), which won a 1990 Golden Globe, and he played an assistant to John Lithgow's character in Ricochet (1991). He wrote, directed, and starred in Inside the Goldmine (1994), which Daily Press critic Kevin Thomas called a meaningful look at a nihilist. He then produced and directed Glam, described by the Los Angeles Times as an edgy tale of Hollywood innocence and corruption. In The Price of Air, a Los Angeles Times review noted his persuasive portrayal of a naive but likable slacker named Paul. He also wrote, produced, and directed Che Guevara (2005), directed and produced Death in the Desert, which premiered at the Tucson Film Festival in 2015, and published the novella Gold Star in 2013.
