Biography

Jon Lindstrom is an American actor, director, writer, producer, and musician who became known for playing Kevin Collins and Ryan Chamberlain on General Hospital and its spin-off Port Charles, both ABC Daytime soap operas. Born in Medford, Oregon, he studied theater and music at the University of Oregon, then moved to Los Angeles to train with Lee Strasberg, Stella Adler, and Jeff Corey. His soap roles earned Daytime Emmy nominations for As The World Turns and General Hospital, and he won a Soap Opera Digest Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor for Port Charles in 2000. On film, he directed and appeared in How We Got Away With It, which won multiple festival awards in 2013, and he shared an Angel Film Award for Best Ensemble Cast for The Sacrifice in 2009. His debut novel, Hollywood Hustle, was published in 2024 and is a USA Today Bestseller. He also recorded an album as a drummer with the band The High Lonesome.
