Biography
Jocelyn Lane is a British actress and model who was active in the 1950s and 1960s. Born in Vienna in 1937, she was educated in New Rochelle, New York, and moved to Britain at fourteen, where she trained in dance. She became a model in the United Kingdom by eighteen, working under the name Jackie Lane, and began appearing in British films in 1955 with the travelogue April in Portugal. In the 1950s she played the second female role in These Dangerous Years (1957), a Herbert Wilcox film starring Frankie Vaughan. After moving to Hollywood in 1964, she was credited as Jocelyn because of confusion with another actress named Jackie Lane. Her Hollywood work included Tickle Me (1965), in which she appeared with Elvis Presley. She also played Cathy, a biker chick, in Hell's Belles in 1969, and made guest appearances on American television. She was often compared to Brigitte Bardot for her looks. She retired in 1971.
