Jenny Seagrove
Biography
Jenny Seagrove is an English actress who was born in Kuala Lumpur and studied at the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School. She first drew notice for her leading role in the television adaptation of A Woman of Substance (1985) and for the film Local Hero (1983). Her film work includes Savage Islands (1983), Appointment with Death (1988) and the William Friedkin horror film The Guardian (1990). She took the part of Louisa Gould in Another Mother's Son (2017). On television, she appeared as Jo Mills in the BBC series Judge John Deed from 2001 to 2007, and her other credits include Diana, Hold the Dream, Wildlife SOS, Lewis, Identity and Endeavour. On stage she performed in productions such as Jane Eyre at Chichester Festival Theatre, Brief Encounter, The Constant Wife and The Exorcist.
