1. First role

   Waddingham's first screen appearance came in 2002, in an episode of the sitcom Coupling. After that she played a part that kept returning in the soap opera Brookside.

2. A first

   Waddingham was the first to play the Wicked Witch of the West in the West End staging of The Wizard of Oz, which opened at the London Palladium on 1 March 2011, and she debuted the new Lloyd Webber and Rice song "Red Shoes Blues".

3. Beyond film

   On Ted Lasso, Waddingham sang her own parts. Her singing can be heard in "Make Rebecca Great Again" from season one, plus "Carol of the Bells" and "No Weddings and a Funeral" in season two.

4. First role

   Waddingham began her career in dinner theater. Anthony and Joseph Tomaska produced the interactive comedy Joey and Gina's Wedding, in which she performed.

5. Beyond film

   Waddingham took the part of Christine in The Beautiful Game, a musical by Andrew Lloyd Webber and Ben Elton, staged in London's West End in 2000. That October, credited just as "Hannah", she put out a single of "Our Kind of Love" from the show, which reached No. 41 in the UK charts.
