Erik Jensen

Erik Jensen is an American actor whose career also includes playwriting, screenwriting, and directing. He grew up in Detroit Lakes, Minnesota, and trained in acting at Carnegie Mellon University. His television work includes ADA Dez O'Reilly on For Life, Thurman Munson in The Bronx Is Burning, Frank Cody on Mr. Robot, and Dr. Stephen Edwards on The Walking Dead. On stage, he acted opposite Aasif Mandvi in Disgraced at Lincoln Center, portrayed Lester Bangs in How to Be a Rock Critic, a play he wrote with Jessica Blank, and appeared on Broadway in The Collaboration. With Blank, he co-wrote The Exonerated, which won awards including an Ovation for Best World Premiere Play and honors from Outer Critics Circle, Lortel, and Drama Desk, and later became a Court TV movie. Their plays Coal Country and The Line premiered at The Public Theater in 2020, and they co-directed the film Almost Home.
