Eric Godon

Eric Godon is a Belgian actor, director and writer who has worked largely in character parts. Born in Baudour, he studied Germanic Philology in Brussels and played for Belgium's junior national basketball team before holding several other jobs and turning to acting at 42. He is self-taught and relies on improvisation, and his burly build and deep voice are familiar to English-speaking viewers from In Bruges (2008) and the BBC drama The Missing. In that series he was cast as mayor Georges Deloix. He also appeared with Sean Bean in 2015, playing older Ivanenko across several episodes of the TNT show Legends. His film work includes Luc Besson's Anna (2019) and the American independent Fishing Without Nets, and he has acted in productions from many countries and in several languages.
