Dylan Playfair

Biography

Dylan Playfair is a Canadian actor who became known as Reilly, one of the jocks in Letterkenny, a role he first played in the web series and then on television from 2016 to 2023. Born in Fort St. James into a hockey family, he played as a forward with the Merritt Centennials of the BCHL before moving into children's film and television. He took the regular part of Knox on the YTV series Some Assembly Required, appearing for all three seasons from 2014 until its cancellation in 2016. Playfair joined Disney's Descendants franchise as Gil, Gaston's son, in Descendants 2 (2017) and Descendants 3 (2019). His skating skills led to hockey-related roles, including Marty Howe in Mr. Hockey: The Gordie Howe Story (2013). He later toured North America as part of Letterkenny Live! and played Coach T on The Mighty Ducks: Game Changers.
