Dee Booher

Dee Booher was an American actress, wrestler and roller derby skater from Lake Arrowhead, California. She began by organizing amateur mud wrestling shows, appearing under a mask as Queen Kong, and after California's gaming commission stopped her from wrestling men, her first match came against a 700 pound bear. She later worked with Matt Cimber and GLOW creator David McLane to put together the first all-women's wrestling show and wrote its theme song. As Matilda the Hun she played a villain who frightened children in the crowd and ate raw meat in the ring, a role she said she enjoyed. She did stunt work and singing telegrams, and appeared in the Mel Brooks comedy Spaceballs and the romantic comedy Brainsmasher... A Love Story (1993). Her television guest roles included Mama's Family and Night Court, and she appeared in the 2012 documentary GLOW: The Story of the Gorgeous Ladies of Wrestling.
