Daniel Jenkins
Biography
Daniel Jenkins is an American actor from New York City, best known for his Broadway work. He made his Broadway debut in 1985 playing Huckleberry Finn in Roger Miller's musical Big River, a role that earned him a Tony Award nomination. He played Mark Twain and voiced the signed Huckleberry Finn in the 2003 Deaf West revival of Big River, and his other Broadway musicals include Mary Poppins, Billy Elliot, and Big The Musical. His stage credits also take in Angels in America, Wrong Mountain, Golden Boy, Oslo, and the Off-Broadway musical Kid Victory. On screen he was O.C. in Robert Altman's O.C. and Stiggs, reteamed with Altman for the 1988 miniseries Tanner '88, and appeared in Florida Straits, The Caine Mutiny Court-Martial, Cradle Will Rock, The Good Wife, Veep, Orange Is The New Black, and The Irishman (2019). In 2008 he co-wrote and performed the play Love Child with Robert Stanton.
