Dakota Goyo
Biography
Dakota Goyo is a Canadian former actor who started in front of the camera as an infant, appearing in his first commercial before moving into television and animation. He was born in Toronto, and by 2010 he had built a long list of small-screen credits, among them JoJo's Circus, Super Why!, Murdoch Mysteries and a recurring part as Timmy Tibble on Arthur. He took the lead role of Charlie in the ABC pilot Solving Charlie in 2009, and his early films included Resurrecting the Champ (2007) and Emotional Arithmetic (2007). He is best known for playing Max Kenton, the estranged son of Hugh Jackman's character, in Real Steel (2011), and for voicing Jamie in the animated Rise of the Guardians (2012). He also played young Thor in Thor and starred in the science fiction thriller Dark Skies (2013).
