Craig Parkinson

Craig Parkinson is an English actor and podcaster who was born in Blackpool, Lancashire, began acting in school plays, and trained at the Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts in London after studying at Blackpool and The Fylde College. He started in small parts on long-running British television shows including The Bill and Holby City, and his film debut came in Control (2007), as Tony Wilson. He went on to appear in independent films such as Four Lions (2010) and The Unloved (2009), while on television he played the twins Jimmy and Johnny Kray in Whitechapel, Shaun in Misfits, and Matthew Cottan in Line of Duty. He also played Inspector Fry in the premiere of Martin McDonagh's Hangmen at the Royal Court Theatre and hosted the Two Shot Podcast, which took the best culture podcast prize at the British Podcast Awards in 2018.
