Chris Larkin

Chris Larkin is an English actor who trained at LAMDA. Born in London to actors Maggie Smith and Robert Stephens, he chose a stage name to distance himself from his family connections. His best-known screen role is Hermann Göring in Hitler: The Rise of Evil, and he also portrayed Charles Darwin for the PBS series Evolution and William Wilberforce in the radio production Grace Victorious. His film work includes Master and Commander: The Far Side of the World (2003), directed by Peter Weir, and Valkyrie (2008) as Sgt. Helm, along with Angels and Insects (1995), Franco Zeffirelli's Jane Eyre (1996) and Tea with Mussolini (1999). On television he played Cambridge in Roger Roger, George Marston in Shackleton, and appeared in Doctor Who and Black Sails. He played Bernard Woolley in the 2013 television revival of Yes, Prime Minister, a part he had played in London's West End.
