Chris Jai Alex

Biography

Chris Jai Alex is an American actor, writer, director and producer whose projects span film, television, voice work and motion capture. Raised in Lansing, Michigan, in a household with a musical bent, he taught himself piano, guitar and music production, and after high school he and his brother started an independent record label before moving to Los Angeles. His first work was as a martial artist and stunt performer, training under Chad Stahelski at 8711 Action Design and doing stunts for Thor: The Dark World and Captain America: Civil War. Voice acting followed in anime and video games, among them the English dub of One-Punch Man as Lord Boros, JoJo's Bizarre Adventure as Esidisi, Call of Duty: Modern Warfare as Mace, and Darksiders Genesis as Strife, which also used his motion capture. He wrote and directed Get the Girl, a 2023 action film, in which he also acted, wrote the graphic novel Kill Blanket, and founded Phineqx Entertainment.
