Chad Everett

Chad Everett was an American actor who started out in stage plays as a teenager in Dearborn, Michigan, and went on to appear in over 40 films and television shows. Born Raymon Lee Cramton in South Bend, he studied drama at Wayne State University and signed a seven-year MGM contract in 1961. His first notable part came on the detective series Surfside 6, and his first major film role followed in Claudelle Inglish. He found his big break as Dr. Joe Gannon on the medical drama Medical Center, broadcast between 1969 and 1976. Later credits included The Singing Nun (1966), Airplane II: The Sequel (1982) and Mulholland Drive (2001), and he voiced characters in animated series and in Disney's The Great Movie Ride. He recorded albums, among them All Strung Out in 1971, and in 1986 he received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.
