Buster Reeves

Buster Reeves is a martial artist and stunt performer. At eleven he began training in traditional Wado Ryu karate, later moving into freestyle. Under his instructors' guidance, he won the British junior title and, at thirteen, set a Guinness Book of Records mark for the most head-height kicks in a minute, first with 218 and later with 256. He held the fighting title until moving to senior level at sixteen. From eighteen he dominated the men's division, winning the Gold Coast Classic in Florida against a four-time champion. At nineteen he was ranked number one in Europe. He captured world ju-jitsu titles: middleweight in New Zealand at twenty, light-heavyweight in West Virginia at twenty-one, and heavyweight in Reno, Nevada at twenty-three. He retired at twenty-five, undefeated across all three weight divisions, to focus on stunt work. He has worked on blockbuster movies, drawing on his martial arts background as well as boxing, gymnastics, and high diving.
