Andrea Brooks
Biography
Andrea Brooks is a Canadian actress and model who began training in dance, figure skating and musical theater as a child in her native Brantford, Ontario, and later studied English literature and film at the University of British Columbia. After appearing in assorted film and television productions, she got her major break in 2015 as Nurse Faith Carter on the Hallmark series When Calls the Heart; the character, a threat to the show's central romance, drew a mixed response from viewers, and Brooks became a series regular from season three. In 2016 she joined Supergirl as Eve Teschmacher and was promoted to the main cast for its fifth season. Her television films include A Wish for Christmas (2016) and Destination Wedding (2017), in which she played the lead, Mandy Hamilton.
