Andra Martin

Andra Martin was an American actress who spent the late 1950s and early 1960s as a Warner Bros. contract player, appearing in movies and many television series. Raised on a farm near Rockford, Illinois, she studied drama at Northwestern University before moving to New York City, where she modeled and trained under Lee Strasberg. Her first screen role was in Street of Sinners, and she was first billed as Andra Martin in The Lady Takes a Flyer. In 1959 she was James Garner's leading lady in Up Periscope and played Wahleeah, a captive American Indian maiden, in Yellowstone Kelly opposite Clint Walker. Her television work included Perry Mason, where she played the daughter and secretary in The Case of the Prodigal Parent and defendant Arlene Ferris in The Case of the Waylaid Wolf, plus guest appearances in Maverick, The Alaskans, 77 Sunset Strip, Hawaiian Eye, Lawman, Cheyenne, Wagon Train, and Bachelor Father.
