Plot summary
T is known through his Manhattan neighborhood for combat, a streetfight and dance in which two people try to force each other off a square surface by intimidation alone, and contact is not allowed. He falls in love with Elana, and she returns his feelings. Squeak, T's best friend, paints the wrong spot, and a crew chases him through the streets, abandoned buildings and rooftops until T comes to his rescue. T and his friends live in houses they built themselves on top of old buildings, and drug dealers are moving into the empty ones.
