Plot summary

Robin Williams died by suicide in August 2014, and the news left the public guessing at his motives while the fuller story stayed obscured. His life and final days are recounted here by his widow, who chose the film's title and brought the project about, by colleagues from his film and television work, and by several medical experts. They describe his struggles with diffuse Lewy body disease and how those struggles affected his acting career. Lewy body dementia is a neurodegenerative disorder, they explain, common and little known, nearly impossible to diagnose, and without a diagnosis it brings heightened fear, paranoia and confusion.
