Plot summary
Julie's brother Brad, from Little Italy, and her boyfriend Chuck are locked in a gang war with Chinatown, an obstacle to Julie's romance with Johnny Woo, a doctor in Chinatown who gave up the ring. Johnny's brother teaches at a kickboxing club, and Julie's brother teaches at a rival one. Julie and Johnny meet at his aunt's restaurant, where she mistakes him for a waiter, and they fall for each other. Julie breaks up with Chuck, which causes more trouble between the two sides.
