Plot summary
At a food processing plant in Quebec, Ariane works as the interpreter between French and Spanish, and the plant brings in seasonal workers from Guatemala. Stéphane, the young owner, gives the orders, and at first she carries them out, even the strictest of them. Getting to know the Guatemalan workers and their conditions, she becomes their ally and tries to defend them from the exploitation they face.
