Plot summary
Xia Tian is a research scientist at Nexus Corporation, where her team is building wormhole technology that would allow travel to parallel universes. The machine is not yet safe: test animals turn aggressive and their cells deteriorate. IPT Lab, a rival agency pursuing the same work, brings in Tsui Hu to seize what Nexus has. He abducts Xia Tian's young son, Dou Dou, and demands the full research within one hour. Nexus has a particle accelerator able to send a person to a parallel universe one hour and fifty minutes in the past, and Xia Tian means to use it to reach Dou Dou before he is taken.
