Mi Yang
Biography
Mi Yang is a Chinese actress who began performing as a child and later built a career in television. Born in Beijing, she started at the age of four, when the historical drama director Jialin Chen cast her as a little princess in the series Tang Ming Emperor, and the same year she appeared as Stephen Chow's daughter in his film Wu zhuangyuan Su Qi-er. After a decade away from acting, she returned as a professional at seventeen. Her 2004 role as Guo Xiang in Return of the Condor Heroes made a strong impression and secured her standing in television. She went on to study at the Performance Institute of Beijing Film Academy, worked again with Jialin Chen in 2007, and reached a turning point playing a spoiled noble girl in Chinese Paladin III (2009). She also appeared as Qingwen in Hong Lou Meng (2009).
