Plot summary
Colin and Les are at war. The brothers raise sheep in remote Western Australia, each keeping a separate flock, and every animal descends from the bloodline their family once prized; the two work alongside each other yet remain worlds apart. Then a rare and lethal illness is found in Les's prize ram, and the authorities decide that no sheep in the valley can be spared. Colin sets out to quietly outwit the officials, while Les refuses the order outright.
