Plot summary
Word is out in Tokyo that a minister of public works is bringing proof of corruption to a reporter, and the CIA, the yakuza and other interested parties want that information as leverage over the government. The minister is killed during the subway journey to the meeting, and the death is made to look like a heart attack. The flash drive carrying the evidence is missing, and nobody, not even the person who killed him, can locate it. The CIA, gangsters and the city police all join the hunt. The minister's daughters are now in danger, and John Rain, an ex-special forces man, moves ahead of the search while he looks for the flash drive and guards one of the daughters.
