Plot summary
Two blocs, East and West, have kept their rivalry alive, and the territory between them, J-Country, is where their agents operate. Mylene Hoffman belongs to the 00 Organization and serves the West as a cyborg spy; a mission against organ traffickers brings her into contact with a young man whose memory is gone. She gives him the name Chris. Back at headquarters, her superiors order her to reach Dr. Klein, the scientist who ran Project Faust, the program responsible for Mylene's cyborg body, and who is now a prisoner of the East. The briefing awakens fragments of a past Mylene cannot recover, and she begins to want the truth about who she was.
