Did you know?!Facts and trivia about Raazi (2018)
Can contain spoilers, watch the movie first.
- In July 2020 the novel's author, Harinder S. Sikka, accused Meghna Gulzar of changing the film's title without his permission and of never showing him the contractually promised director's cut. He said Meghna Gulzar and her father took a pro-Pakistani stand, and that producers Jain and Johar tried to discredit him.
- Raazi's Patiala shoot was halted for days by violence and a curfew that followed the 25 August 2017 conviction of Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh, and the unrest forced the film's final schedule to move from Punjab to Delhi.
- The Raazi song "Ae Watan" also contains the lyrics of Allama Iqbal's nazm "Lab Pe Aati Hai Dua", which is the national prayer of Pakistan.
