Plot summary
Major and Gullu are horror-film fans without jobs, and their families keep pressing them to find work. They want to become exorcists, so they pray to Raaka, a statue they treat as a close friend, for relief from their poverty. Their next idea is a party for Halloween with a ghost theme. As midnight approaches, the light in the statue's eyes goes out, and while the two attempt repairs a shock sends them into the realm of the dead. There they meet Ragini, a benevolent ghost, who offers to fulfill their ambition in exchange for a favor: they must expose the criminals who wronged certain souls in life, letting those souls find salvation. The pair agree, and with her assistance they launch Phone Bhoot, a ghost-catching business that grows famous.
