Plot summary
An old woman runs a small restaurant where she feeds the neighborhood's street dogs every day. A promoter wants her and the animals gone so he can build a gate for his building. She asks an NGO led by Sanghamitra for help and goes to the police. When the dogs are taken from the site, a reclusive, short-tempered man who works at a nearby factory and visits daily to feed one puppy is enraged. With Kamalini, a young NGO worker, he begins searching for the missing dog. Their search puts them on the path of a dog trafficking racket that mistreats and sells stray animals.
