Trailer

Plot summary

Oceans explores marine life across Earth's five oceans and considers the harm human activity does to that world. On a beach, children run toward the water, and one boy stops to ask what the ocean is. The film then visits the Galápagos, where marine iguanas and horseshoe crabs roam. A nighttime Ariane rocket launch startles both groups as it heads for space. Elsewhere, sea urchin larvae and a crustacean egg lie in a trench, moon jellyfish gather in a swarm, and other jellyfish drift with the current in daylight. Filming took place at more than fifty locations.
