Plot summary
Paul Gregory works in London as a Canadian confidence trickster. His target is a wealthy Canadian woman in Britain and a collection of valuable coins, and he meets her at an ice hockey match. He wins her confidence until she is ready to hand him legal control of the sale. The deal goes through without her knowledge, and he puts the money in a safe deposit box. He lets the police arrest him, expecting five years in prison and then the money. The judge gives him ten years.
