Plot summary
Cheech and Chong run an ice cream truck called Happy Herb's Nice Dreams, but the money comes from high-grade marijuana taken from their friend Weird Jimmy, who grows it on a plantation beneath their beach house disguised as a pool. Sales bring the two a fortune and a plan they call Sun Kings in Paradise: an island, guitars and women. The police watch them from the start, and the pair sell the officers some of the ice cream. Detectives Drooler and Noodles tail the truck while Sergeant Stedanko tests the marijuana. Cheech and Chong celebrate their wealth at a Chinese restaurant, where a record agent mistakes Chong for Jerry Garcia.
